Our Story
What is Waymeet?
The Waymeet community is composed of people from all over who contribute their respective knowledge, passions, insights, and strengths towards building a community centered on sustainability, sharing, and sanctuary. We are consistently investing in a future where we have the ability to cultivate, nurture, grow, raise, trade, and overall exchange our own resources while reducing our environmental footprint. We believe that no contribution is too small and no dream is too wild.
The Land
We have ten acres of beautiful land on the northeast side of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The property consists of forest, marsh, orchard, pond, pasture, and farmable land. Waymeet is home to five yaks, five flocks of chickens, a few loveable domesticated animals, and all sorts of wildlife. We have ongoing projects that follow sustainability guidelines and ethics to help reduce our carbon footprint. We are also working hard on environmental restoration on the property.
