We’ve put together a selection of our favourite backyard mix breeds with a beautiful variety of colors! We picked these breeds for a combination of good egg production, best personalities (we love friendly birds!), and cold hardiness! It comes with a special bonus of two blue pure opal legbar eggs.
 
Your rainbow mix will include at least the following:
2 blue purebred opal legbar eggs
2 olive eggs
2 dark brown mystic maran or black copper maran eggs

Apart from the purebred opal legbars, all eggs are fertilized by either a barred rooster (Watson) or a black copper maran rooster (Beau). Black copper maran rooster genes means you have a higher chance of getting dark brown eggs as well as olive eggs from your flock!
