THE GARDEN
Our community garden grows seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers throughout the year. It is nourished by our homemade compost and remains free of pesticides. We compile a list of regularly used produce and make it a point to plant based on the community's needs and requests. We also can and preserve the bounty of our garden to last us through the cold months and into the spring.
THE ORCHARD
The Waymeet property is situated on a very old apple orchard that we are continually working to restore. We have noted about two dozen healthy trees that have been pruned and cared for by our community arborists. We host an annual Ciderfest where we extend the invitation to pick apples and press them with our very own cider press. Stay tuned for more details of this event during Fall 2024!
